Owner Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Bryan is a proud graduate of Kent State University. With a long career in insurance, Bryan has led many companies in senior management positions. Now ready to retire and shift his focus to something he truly loves, Bryan is proud to be servicing his community with BBQ and enjoying life by the lake.
Jeff Nesseth
Owner Jeff grew up in Huntington Beach, CA, and graduated from Southern Methodist University. With a 35-year career in financial services, Jeff has always had a passion for BBQ and serving up delicious food. Now, he’s excited to bring his love for cooking to the Lake Keowee community.
Kendrall McFadden
General Manger/ PitMaster Raised in the heart of the Lowcountry, Kendrall McFadden brings deep Southern flavor and soul to everything he cooks. As a proud Army Veteran and Certified Pitmaster, he blends discipline, tradition, and a true love for barbecue into every slow-smoked bite. A lifelong BBQ enthusiast, Kendrall is all about honoring the craft, feeding the community, and keeping the fire burning.
Together, Jeff, Bryan, and Kendrall have combined their passions and experience to open Lakeside Smokehouse. Our dream is to become the go-to BBQ destination around Lake Keowee, serving up mouth-watering brisket, ribs, pork, and chicken to our wonderful lake community. We can’t wait to meet you and share our love for great food.
